Sweet Dreams Rental Policy
We offer complimentary delivery and pickup with a minimum purchase of $50.00 to
North Topsail Beach, Surf City, and Topsail Beach!
Cancellations: We understand when plans change and you may need to cancel your order. To receive a refund, you must cancel more than two weeks in advance of the scheduled delivery date. A qualifying refund will be the total amount of your order (pre-tax) less a $25.00 cancellation fee.
Delivery: We deliver all rental items to the exterior of your rental home or condo by 8pm on check-in day. You do not need to be present for the delivery or pick up. Most rental items will be delivered to the front (street side) main entrance. On the island, different doors may be considered the “main entrance,” especially on multi-level beach properties, so be sure to check ALL doors for your items. We may place certain items under the house or other “protected locations” during bad weather. Grills will always be left under or beside the house as it is against many local ordinances to have grills on the decks.
During peak season and on days that we’ve encountered inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances (such as traffic) may delay deliveries. We appreciate your understanding during these times. Please be sure to verify your delivery address when placing your order. “Re-Delivery” due to an incorrect address will result in a $25 re-delivery fee. Providing both the property address and property name when ordering can help prevent delivery problems.
Linen Packaging: Our linens are delivered in weather resistant plastic totes. All our bedding sets are color coded by size. Everything is safely wrapped in plastic to protect the cleanliness. Bath mats are packaged with towels that contain the black cosmetic cloth. Kitchen linens are black and come wrapped in a small square. Please do not leave the delivery totes outside once you arrive or after removing the contents. If the empty totes are lost or damaged, you will be responsible for the replacement expenses.
Pickup: Upon check-out please be sure all your rented items are placed outside no later than 10 am in the location to which they were delivered. Please put all rental linens in the totes and place those outside as well. Please do not place any of the property’s items in our totes as they belong to the Homeowner. Examples include pillows, mattress pads, blankets, comforters, remote controls, etc. We do NOT have access to the inside of most of the properties. If for some reason we cannot retrieve our items, you could be charged a replacement fee.
Early Departures: If you are checking out earlier than planned, please call us to arrange a new pick-up time. We would like the items returned as soon as possible, so they are not lost or damaged.
Care of Items in your possession: Please follow the instructions provided/and or attached to the rental items. Please be cautious when using the rental items to avoid being responsible for replacement expenses.
Beach Umbrellas: Umbrellas should not be opened on the beach during periods of high winds or gusting winds (15 mph or greater in either case). This is a safety issue first and foremost. We have personally seen children and adults sustain serious injuries from beach umbrellas, beach tents and canopies, etc., that have gone airborne during high winds.
Local Ordinances: Grills are not permitted on decks or porches. They should only be used at ground level in an open area. Most condos do not permit grills unless provided by the complex itself.
All towns on Topsail Island prohibit leaving any items on the beach overnight. If you do so and they are confiscated or stolen, you will be responsible for replacement expenses.
Replacements: Please inspect all items when they are delivered. Please call us right away if something is broken, faulty, or missing. Within 24 hours of arrival, we will replace the item, subject to availability, or provide a refund for it.
Renter/Guest Responsibilities: Sweet Dreams Linen and Rentals will not be held liable in the event of injury or accidental death due to improper use or malfunction of rental items. Renter assumes all responsibility for equipment when out of the possession of Sweet Dreams Linen and Rentals. Renter also guarantees to return such items to Sweet Dreams Linen and Rentals in similar condition as it was received by the renter. Natural wear and tear are expected. Renter is liable for the cost of any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of rented items.
Please note: We strongly recommend ordering in advance to ensure availability during the summer months. Last minute orders are welcomed year-round. We will do our best to make same day deliveries as scheduling permits. However, all deliveries are guaranteed to be no later than by the end of the next day.
